MiruGas® can perform secondary derived calculations online suchas the OUR, which, is the respiration rate of biomass, that is, the rate of oxygen consumption of microorganisms.
By relating this important indicator to the OTR (Oxygen Transmission Rate) and other processes parameters, a representative indicator is obtained to detect anomalies and prevent possible unwanted situations. It can also optimise costs and reduce/justify energy and/or chemical reagent consumption when processes are performed correctly.
