Nippon Sanso Holdings is the parent company to the Taiyo Nippon Sanso in Japan, the US Matheson Tro-Gas Group, the European Nippon Gases, The Asia/Oceania Regional Group and Thermos Business Group.

Nippon Sanso Corporation is established as Nippon Sanso L.t.d.

1946

Toyo Sanso was established as Taiyo Sanso Co., L.t.d: completed first production facility and commenced sales in 1947.

1983

Acquired Matheson Gas Products, Inc., of the United States.

1992

1992

Acquired industrial gases manufacturer Tri-Gas, lnc., in the United States (merged with Matheson in 1999 to create Matheson Tri-Gas, lnc.).

1994

1994

Merger agreement signed by Taiyo Sanso and Toyo Sanso: in 1995 commenced operations under the Taiyo Toyo Sanso name.

2003

2003

Established industrial gases manufacturing and marketing company Shanghai Nippon Sanso Gas Co., Ud. (currently Shanghai Taiyo Nippon Sanso Gas Co., Ud.), in China.

2004

2004

Taiyo Toyo Sanso and Nippon Sanso formed Taiyo Nippon Sanso (TNS).

2018

2018

Nippon Gases Europe became part of the TNSC.

1st of October : The Nippon Sanso Holding Corporation was launched to start the transition to a global holding company structure.
