Our History

Nippon Sanso was founded.

1946

Taiyo Nippon Sanso was founded.

1953

Argon S.A was founded.

1966

Oximesa was founded.

1974

Argon S.A absorbs C.N.O.

1983

Nippon Gases acquires Matheson.

1987

Tri-Gases was founded.

1992

Nippon Gases acquires Tri-Gases.

1993

Argon S.A absorbs Oximesa.

1996

Liquid Carbonic de España is integrated with Argon S.A and Praxairfully integrates them.

1999

Merge between Matheson and Tri-Gas, creating Matheson Tri-Gas.

2004

Merge of Nippon Gases with Taiyo Toyo Sanso creating Taiyo Nippon Sanso.

2018

Taiyo Nippon Sanso acquires Praxair in Europe, creating Nippon Gases.

Photovoltaic Solar Installation Self-consumption

NIPPON GASES ESPAÑA, S.L.U. has received aid for its self-consumption project ‘Photovoltaic solar installation for self-consumption’, co-financed by the European Recovery and Resilience Mechanism PRTR-Next Generation EU, coordinated by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge through IDAE and managed by the autonomous regions in accordance with Royal Decree 477/2021, with the aim of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable economy.
