Heliox is the name of gas mixture composed by: He from 60% to 80% of volume and O2 (remaining volume). This product is delivered to the patients with severe breathing difficulties (e.g. asthma, bronchiolitis) to reduce the WB (working breath) It’s supplied in high pressure cylinders.
