R-1233zd is used in industrial air-conditioning systems and heat pumps, in particular in systems using low pressure centrifugal compressors, instead of
R-123. It is non flammable and it is compatible with Polyolester oil lubricants (POE). It poses no problems when used in conjunction with the materials normally used in current systems.
