Gases and specific mixtures to protect the back side of your weld
Specific gas for cutting and brazing metals, by using the oxy-fuel.
Gas mixtures designed to increase the quality and productivity of your welding processes.
The ISO 9606-1 standard, implemented in 2013, established comprehensive requirements for welder certification. This standard introduced and validated the concept of reducing mixtures in welding processes. For TIG and MAG welding of austenitic steels, this development has significant implications, particularly regarding hydrogen in shielding gas mixtures.
Since the 70s, welding gases have started an evolution that has accompanied the growth of welding machines, influencing and increasing the processes.
Ar for AM Argon for additive manufacturing +
Thanks to its chemical-physical characteristics, Argon is a frequently used gas in the additive manufacturing processes. It's mostly used for those materials that are particularly reactive with oxygen or other air components.
N2 for AM Nitrogen for additive manufacturing +
Under normal conditions, Nitrogen is an inert gas but at high temperatures it can react with some materials which are also used in 3D printing.
In Nippon Gases we have developed various qualities of gases to adapt to your applications. Call us or write to us and we will help you get the most out of it.
